Finally the full reveal! I’m so excited to share this gorgeous styled shoot coordinated by Andrea Freeman Events and myself. I definitely have to give a huge thanks to everyone involved, their hard work made it all possible. Andrea came up with the concept for this shoot after booking the totally awesome venue Space on Abbot Kinney in Venice. The property was a crazy cool mix of ultra-modern architecture with super rustic elements of brick, steel, rust, and hardwood. Not only did the venue make for a great shoot location, I also had the added benefit of being right in the heart of Venice Beach and was able to take full advantage of some of the great spots on Abbot Kinney Blvd to shoot with out couple. Speaking of couple, Andrea booked us some absolutely gorgeous models, Stephanie & Travis, who have actually worked together on multiple shoots before and have totally awesome chemistry. Stephanie’s dress was provided by Lovella Bridal and man was it a stunner, with a sheer top covered in sparkly little eyelets. Our hair & makeup team did an incredible job with them both, if you’re ever in need of some total pros, definitely check out Hair by Karen B & Denise Van Arsdale-West for makeup. To polish off Stephanie’s final look, we had some amazingly killer jewelry brought in by Jay Carlile, a high-end jeweler out of Beverly Hills, wait until you see the bling! Our dinner table was fully decorated by a team of wonderful vendors, with chairs by Classic Party Rentals, tableware from Small Masterpiece, and beautiful florals by Aquafuzion. To complete our table, the talented gals at Antiquaria provided us with hand-crafted invitations, table cards, B&G chair signs, and drink table signage. Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to my favorite baker in the entire world, Kim Bailey of The Butter End Cakery. Kim was actually who set us up with our venue and was my first choice to create a wedding cake to match. Andrea & I asked Kim to create a sort of “deconstructed” cake and we left the rest to her. What Kim designed was a cake like I’ve never seen before, and I’ll be surprised if anyone else has. After delivery and setup we were left staring at the coolest 3-tiered, 3-level cake supported by hand-poured concrete bases and steel posts. Kim couldn’t have done a better job creating something incredibly unique to match our shoot. We’re stoked to also announce that our shoot was featured on the California Wedding Day blog which you can check out HERE. Anyways, definitely check out our shoot and be sure to hit up any of these killer vendors for any of your wedding needs!
